Who we are

Ad and SEO is an independent SEO and Google Ads studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here. Contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

• Enquiry form: your name, email, mobile number, business or website, ad spend range, goal, how you heard about us, and the package you built.
• Newsletter and Grader waitlist: your email address, and optionally your website and ad spend range.
• Technical data: basic request logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address and browser type.

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this notice.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
• To send the monthly newsletter, only if you subscribed.
• To tell you when the Grader launches, only if you joined the waitlist.
• To keep the website secure and working.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use service providers to run the site and send email, such as our website host, an email delivery provider and a newsletter provider. Some of these are outside South Africa. We choose providers that protect personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our conversations. We keep newsletter and waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also object to us using it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
